Empressed is more than a name. It is a reflection of passion, purpose, family and the belief in walking in your power.
Inspired by Mrs Reid
My grandma, Mrs Reid, was, in my eyes, one of the finest bakers in Wolverhampton. Her talent and the love she poured into baking left an impression on me that has never faded.
I had already begun building my food business before my grandma sadly passed away in 2020. That same year, I established Empressed Kitchen. Her passing inspired me to take my baking more seriously, expand what I had started and carry that love forward in my own way.
Why Empressed?
The name Empressed brings together two ideas: my belief in walking in my power as an Empress, and the many people who told me they were impressed by my creations. Bringing those ideas together felt like the perfect expression of what I was building.
More recently, I connected with the spiritual symbolism of 369, often associated in manifestation traditions with intention and bringing ideas into reality. That symbolism resonates with my personal philosophy and the vision behind Empressed.
